The Akron Collection, inspired in the 1920s by the American Midwestern city of Akron, Ohio, the timeless stools that factory workers used for many years fuse hand-cast iron, brass detailing and hand-stitched leather. It includes pieces like the Akron Stool and Akron Desk Chair, whose arms sweep up the curve of wood that forms the backrest with such understated authority that you can almost imagine a factory manager barking orders from it.
